Time to Fly!

Chanel, my kitten, shredded the exterior of my carry-on bag and then decided to turn it into a kitty condo. It's her's now. It has logged a gazillion miles, I'm entitled to a new one.

I never travel with luggage that has to be checked in. I am not patient enough to have to claim it and I learned long ago not to trust any airline with it. I travel with a ridiculously huge purse and a carry-on on wheels. Anything that doesn't fit, well, I figure I don't need it.

I love walking off the plane and leaving everyone else to deal with the baggage claim fiasco while I get the heck out of Dodge...

I have plenty to do this week. Nena for a bordetella vaccination so she can go to the doggy hotel. My car inspection sticker will expire while I am gone if I don't get it taken care of. I will need new front tires first. Dental appointment Tuesday morning...why did I do that?

All the dogs and cats have to go to my parent's Sunday night except Nena. She has to go to a hotel on Saturday because she can't behave and doggy Prozac doesn't put a dent in it. Well, she will get a bath and manicure.

It's nice to not need international roaming on the cell phone. I'm not thrilled that because of manmade borders I have to pay an additional .69 cents a minute but c'est la vie.

I am taking the walking shoes because my client has many interests and wants to see them all. I have no problem with that!

Since he must travel alone, I have suggested he buy a webcam and get a Skype account so he can detail each day's findings to his wife and they can chat (for free) about which condo to purchase. Of course I will take the digital camera and we will post photos of each property on Picassa. Ok, I am a Google nerd. I admit it!

I also have a couple of people I need to meet with in the area evening developer cocktail parties to attend and another client that will be there. He is looking for an ultra-modern condo on the sea in Cancun. I think Novo Cancun Novo Cancun is where he will fall in love...
